At HEI we produce, synthesize, package, share and support the best available research evidence in the health and health-related fields, and we undertake a variety of initiatives designed to achieve impacts at all levels within as well as across health systems. Our name effectively connects us to the department’s rich and enduring history in evidence-based medicine and the global impact that this and other departmental initiatives have had.

HEI’s long-time strategic goal of extending its leadership in developing new health research methods, generating and synthesizing actionable research evidence, and achieving impact will continue to underpin all that we do.
